What are we doing in local schools?

During term two, we’ve been actively engaging with numerous schools, offering a wide array of sessions. Our community coach, Matt Tomes Smith, has been leading mentoring sessions at St Phillips Primary School and conducting cricket sessions at Royal High School and Roundhill. Meanwhile, our other community coach, Josh Norgrove-Gray, has been delivering PE lessons at both Oldfield schools and St Phillips. This term, we’ve also launched disability cricket sessions at St Marks. There will be lots more coming up for term three.

Walking Cricket

Bath CC continue to host Successful Walking Cricket Sessions!

“It was great to get involved in walking cricket, the slower pace made it more enjoyable, and I really appreciated the chance to stay active while having fun with new friends”.

We host Walking Cricket every Thursday from 10:00-11:30, then head into the clubhouse for refreshments after. Your first two sessions with us are absolutely FREE!

For more information about how to get involved in Walking Cricket, please follow the link here!

Julian Wood Batting Masterclass

Julian is one of the leading batting coaches in world cricket. He has worked with top players like Joe Root and Ben Stokes and is currently active in franchise cricket around the world.

You will leave the session with an improved understanding of how to increase the scoring rate through both hitting boundaries and manipulating the field.

We are extremely fortunate to have Julian coming to Bath. There are only a handful of spaces left at this heavily reduced rate. This is about more than hitting sixes, it’s about increasing your capacity to score runs and change games. Book here!
